Intra-Oral Camera Screening
Advanced Intra-Oral Camera Screening in CT
During our oral screening, we examine the patients’ dental condition completely. We examine your previous medication reports to identify any oral or health issues that we need to know. During this, we use our latest technology, and Intra-Oral Camera to have a deep understanding of your teeth. This camera can capture, record, and show the real-time screening of the tissues that are not visible to the naked eye.
Benefits of Intra-Oral Camera
There are lots of benefits of using a camera to identify the oral health issues, for both patients and dentists.
The patients will not have to keep their mouth open for too long, while the dentist examines their issues. The whole screening can be completed within 5 – 10 minutes.
Because of its ability to capture magnified images, it can detect the potential dental hazards closely, and before it becomes a hazard.
How Does an Intra-Oral Camera Work?
Just like an X-ray shows the internal structure of your teeth, including jaw-bone and teeth gum. Intraoral camera shows the external conditions like tooth decay, cavities, infection etc. of your tooth health, in high detail. It is used to capture images and see the overall condition in real time examination.
Intraoral Treatment Process
These cameras are very small in size. In fact, they’re only about the size of an extra thick marker. It’s like a wand, which has a camera along with a light at one end, and a cord connected to a computer at the rear end. It also comes without a cord, and connects with the computer wirelessly. We use the camera to move around inside the mouth, while it captures images and shows videos about your current dental condition.
